(octopus16) | (octopus16) Expected site would be located at two masts near War Memorial. Site visit confirmed disused 2G panels are located on these masts. I am continuing field testing to determine location. | ||
EDIT: Hi Dave - the site at the memorial was still active for Orange 2G as recently as this year, but noticed it was off a few months ago (was probably one of the last still running the 234-33 code in the UK). It could be they've made it 4G with the same panels, but that wouldn't explain n78 (unless using more distant n78 and Cellmapper incorrectly reporting it). | EDIT: Hi Dave - the site at the memorial was still active for Orange 2G as recently as this year, but noticed it was off a few months ago (was probably one of the last still running the 234-33 code in the UK). (octopus16) | (octopus16) Further field testing has determined that two 1800MHz carriers are broadcasting from the old 2G panels. |
