Android 4.2 CellID Support

Google introduced a new CellID API in Android 4.2 that provides more information and updates most of the data atomically. This results in less errornous data points when mapping. Unfortunately, some manufacturers, especially Samsung, have chosen not to implement this mandatory API. Even worse, they attempt to put in LTE CellID info into the old API, which the Android source code documentation explicitly forbids.

For best results, it is suggested to avoid all Samsung devices except the few listed below (virtually all of them are CDMA/LTE phones).
