Globe has 7 LTE blocks in use. Globe has deployed LTE on 700 MHz (APT B28) 15 MHz/20MHz, 900 MHz (E-GSM B8) 10 MHz, 1800 MHz (DCS B3) 10 MHz, 2100 MHz (IMT B1) 10 MHz, 2300 MHz (WCS B40) 15 MHz and 2500 MHz (BRS/EBS B41) 10 MHz/20 MHz. DCS is Globe's primary LTE band. It was used exclusively during Globe's initial LTE deployment in 2012. Globe also owns 20 MHz of 2600MHz (IMT-E B38) used for additional capacity via MFBI (or Multiple Frequency Band Indicator); this band are very limited coverage and shared by same frequency/bandwidth (2500 MHz (BRS/EBS)).
Globe has multiple LTE blocks, the ones deployed varies per area. 1800 MHz (DCS B3) was Globe's initial LTE Band. Depending on the device support, all LTE bands can serve as an anchor to Globe's 5G NSA cells.

Globe has 2 5G NR blocks in use. Globe deployed NR on 2500 MHz (BRS/EBS B41) via DSS (or Dynamic Spectrum Sharing) and 60 MHz of 3500 MHz (C-band n78). n78 is Globe's primary NR band.
Globe has 3 5G NR blocks in use. Globe deployed 20/40MHz NR on 2500 MHz (BRS/EBS n41), 15/20MHz NR on 700 MHz (APT n28) via DSS (or Dynamic Spectrum Sharing), and 60 MHz of 3500 MHz (C-band n78). n78 was Globe's initial and primary NR band until deployments of n41 picked up pace and surpassed it in terms of number of sites and coverage. Deployment of DSS n28 followed n41's deployment and is sometimes the only Globe 5G band in areas that are yet to have n41 and/or n78 deployments.

Current Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) using Globe's Network: TM (Touch Mobile), GOMO Philippines

Past Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) using Globe's Network: ABS-CBN Mobile (defunct), Cherry Prepaid (defunct)

2G (GSM)

Globe has 2 GSM blocks in use. Globe uses 900MHz (E-GSM) and 1800 MHz (DCS) spectrum for 2G.

Cell ID Layout

The first value is the 900MHz (E-GSM) block. If Cell ID starts with 7 or 8:

Sector ID Frequency Band Direction
1 900MHz (E-GSM) North
2 900MHz (E-GSM) East southeast
3 900MHz (E-GSM) West southwest

The second value is the 1800 MHz (DCS) block. So 1 and 4, 2 and 5, and 3 and 6 face the same direction. If Cell ID starts with 7 or 8:

Sector ID Frequency Band Direction
1 1800 MHz (DCS) North
2 1800 MHz (DCS) East southeast
3 1800 MHz (DCS) West southwest

If Cell ID isn't starting with 7 or 8 sectors are named randomly mostly with a number from 0-9.

3G (UMTS)

Globe has 2 UMTS blocks in use. Globe uses 900MHz (E-GSM) and 2100 MHz (IMT) spectrum for 3G. In some areas, Globe has migrated from 3G to 4G LTE to allow more bandwidth, such as LTE Band 8. Globe 3G network were sunsetted in the end of 2022.

Cell ID Layout

Sector ID Frequency Band Direction
1,4 2100 MHz (IMT) North
2,5 2100 MHz (IMT) East southeast
3,6 2100 MHz (IMT) West southwest

The second value is the 900MHz (E-GSM) block. So 1 and 4, 2 and 5, and 3 and 6 face the same direction.

Sector ID Frequency Band Direction
7 900MHz (E-GSM) North
8 900MHz (E-GSM) East southeast
9 900MHz (E-GSM) West southwest

4G (LTE)

Globe has multiple LTE blocks, the ones deployed varies per area. 1800 MHz (DCS B3) was Globe's initial LTE Band. Depending on the device support, all LTE bands can serve as an anchor to Globe's 5G NSA cells.

5G (NR)
