TIM was first to launch LTE in Bozen. 17 Basestations with the Prefix 7003XX and 7002XX where planed but due Permisson Problems with Stadtgemeinde Bozen only few where launched in July of 2013. Some where launched even 3 jears after. Two of those Basestations where already shutdown and replaced with 4G+ Basestations with higher eNodeB IDs.<br /> | |||
Tim uses 3/4 available LTE bands in Bozen, for 1800 Tim partialy reuses old GSM DCS antennas, for 800 and 2600 they had to change theyr Antennas. On newer eNodeBs RRUs are used. The Basestations are connected over both Fiber Optic Cables and Microwave Link. | |||
