This cell site seems to be dedicated to serving the community of Hainesville, IL, as well as the large volume of commuting traffic which traverses IL 120 (Belvidere Rd) on a daily basis.

Location

The cell site appears to be located on a tower structure, behind the Hainesville Village Hall; it is located directly to the north-west of the intersection of IL 120 and Hainesville Rd.

Technical Specifications

The site has been recorded as serving LTE on the following frequencies:

  • BAND 2 -- PCS (1800 MHz)
  • BAND 4 -- AWS-1 (1700/2100 MHz)
  • BAND 12 -- Lower 700MHz blocks B and C
    • NOTE: The site still broadcasts BAND 17 capability via MFBI (multi-frequency band indicator)
  • BAND 30 -- WCS (2300 MHz)
  • BAND 66 -- AWS-1 + AWS-3
    • NOTE: The transmissions on BAND 66 fall within the frequency range of BAND 4; the latest EARFCN observed was 66686. It is likely just another MFBI setup to ease future compatibility.
