Samsung
- Mostly Samsung Phones support reading Bands and Frequency on Service Mode (*#0011#). Using this feature you need run Cellmapper on background and Service Mode foreground. Phone need rooted and stock rom.
- Mostly Samsung Phones does not support Cell ID API 4.2.
- In some devices Cell ID API 4.2 may show extra data compared to the old API, but most important parameters are invalid or missing. Do not use Cell ID API 4.2 for cellmapping, if the chart below displays your device incompatible. Failing to do so may cause invalid data being displayed on the map.
- To force/enable 4G LTE only on most samsung phones (Useful just for mapping 4G only) Use an app called Radio Switcher but is not available on Android 5.0.2+ yet but it works on 4.4.4 kitkat or less. Sony phones are fine as they have an option to enable 4G only in there stock ROMs.
